Join us for our next Innovation 2 Impact seminar, where we will explore how Johnson & Johnson works across the innovative medicine and medical technology sectors to accelerate early-stage transformational solutions by catalyzing the most promising ideas, wherever they are in the world.

Johnson & Johnson does this by harnessing its deep scientific capabilities coupled with a wide range of tools, including customized deal structures, company creation, incubation and startup services, capital investments and other innovative business models that aim to meet the diverse needs of entrepreneurs, scientists, and emerging companies. Johnson & Johnson’s goal is to help life science and health technology innovations thrive through collaboration and partnership with the global ecosystem, so that together we can change the trajectory of human health.

This seminar is designed for researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs eager to understand how this transition will shape the future of collaboration and innovation in life sciences.

This event is open to Georgetown University-affiliated members, researchers, and individuals from DMV universities eager to explore the intersection of innovation and entrepreneurship and use their research to make a real-world impact.

Featured Speaker:

Rachel Rath, MBA, MPH, as the head of JLABS DC, oversees its strategic direction, operations, and external engagement. She is responsible for innovation sourcing and accelerating innovators connected to the facility. Previously, Rachel directed the BARDA Alliance for Johnson & Johnson Innovation, managing BLUE KNIGHT™, an initiative focused on stimulating science and technology innovation for health security. She played a key role in developing programming and sourcing companies for Johnson & Johnson. Her background also includes leadership roles at the National Evaluation System for health Technology Coordinating Center (NESTcc) and PCORI, where she helped launch the Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network (PCORnet).
