Featured Speaker:

Longship Legal works with companies to build valuation through intellectual property and business strategy. Dave has worked in the legal field for over twenty-five years. Starting out of law school as a corporate and intellectual property lawyer at Foley Hoag in Boston, he later served as in-house counsel at Bose Corporation. After moving to the DC area, he worked as an IP transactions and subject matter expert at AOL, then served as in-house counsel at a cleantech startup in Arlington, Virginia. Just prior to founding Longship Legal, Dave worked at small IP boutique doing patent preparation and prosecution in the areas of computer networks, telecommunications, cybersecurity, machine learning, and AI. In his free time, he plays jazz piano at venues in the DC area and is an ardent supporter of his kids’ soccer teams.
