Virtual SBIR/STTR Workshop Series

This three-part comprehensive Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/ Small Technology Transfer Research (STTR) grant writing virtual workshop series will be presented by experts from NCI’s (National Cancer Institute) SBIR Development Center. The workshop series will cover topics from SBIR/STTR basics to how to draft a competitive SBIR/STTR proposal.

PART I: SBIR/STTR Basics: “Fundamentals for starting a business, including funding opportunities and commercialization resources available at NIH/NCI”

PART II: SBIR Intensive: “Practical strategies and tips for developing competitive proposals, including how to draft a strong specific aims page, proper stage of development, and other factors assessed during the review process”
Date: March 3rd, 2022
Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST

PART III: One-on-one meetings: Request 1:1 meeting with NCI representative by sending an email to techlicensing@georgetown.edu by March 4th, 2022.

The workshop seminar series is open to small businesses, researchers, students, postdoctoral fellows, and entrepreneurs from/affiliated with Georgetown University, Howard University, and George Washington University
