Formerly known as the Faculty Entrepreneurship Academy, this program has been relaunched and rebranded as Innovators Moving Projects to Application, Commercialization, and Translation, or IMPACT @ Georgetown, to better meet today’s research and new venture funding climate. The program’s format and content have been refreshed to ensure relevance and applicability.

This initiative, part of the Georgetown Tech Ventures program, was developed by the Office of Technology Commercialization in collaboration with Georgetown Entrepreneurship at the McDonough School of Business.

Past participants credit the program with commercialization success

The IMPACT @ Georgetown program changed how we thought about presenting our technology to different audiences.

In particular, it deepened our understanding of the distinct skills we needed to commercialize the invention and speak to audiences that can support that.
We have made enormous progress and encourage anyone with a technology that might benefit society to apply to IMPACT.
