You can request the following agreements from OTC
- Material Transfer Agreement (MTA)
- Confidential/Non-Disclosure Agreement (CDA/NDA)
- Data Use Agreement (DUA)
Material Transfer Agreement (MTA)
The Office of Technology Commercialization has an online process for requesting to set up a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA). Georgetown affiliates with Georgetown NetID and Password privileges only can initiate an MTA request using the online process. If you’re not directly affiliated with Georgetown, please get in touch with your Georgetown contact to begin the MTA request.

Please use the appropriate submission form based on your requirements.
Confidential Disclosure Agreement (CDA)/ Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) play a vital role in protecting sensitive information shared during research collaborations. These agreements help safeguard proprietary data, unpublished findings, and other confidential materials, creating a secure environment for innovation.
If you’re planning to disclose your invention to an outside entity, it’s important to understand that certain information—such as unpublished patent applications—may be considered confidential. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of such information and should not share it without a CDA/NDA in place, which can be done through the Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC). If you are requesting a CDA for a Clinical Trial, please contact Joseph Young – jy620@georgetown.edu for guidance.

If you need to request a CDA/NDA (other than for a clinical trial), please use the provided link; it is accessible only to individuals with a Georgetown NetID.
