Due to recent Supreme Court decisions and policy changes at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, one may get the impression that virtually nothing is patentable in the life sciences arena.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  While these cases and policy changes may make it more challenging to navigate your way to an issued patent, patenting your inventions still remains the most important way to protect them.  Please join us for a discussion to learn how the Office of Technology Commercialization navigates its way through these recent changes during patent prosecution.

Lunch will be provided, space is limited.

Please RSVP by Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 to Jeremy S. Alexander at jsa28@georgetown.edu or call (202) 687-7424.

Faculty, entrepreneurs, fellows, business students, medical students, law students, and research administrators should attend.
