This seminar covers information that will improve your chances of obtaining a patent.  It will include some basics on patents, such as the purpose of filing and obtaining patents and the requirements for patentability.  It will also highlight strategies you should keep in mind to increase your chances of success at the Patent Office, including the importance of early disclosure to the Office of Technology Commercialization, ways of avoiding/overcoming prior art rejections, timing for public disclosure, and reasons to keep good notebooks.
